<p><strong>Job Title: Plater</strong><p><strong>Job Description</strong><p>Perform barrel and rack plating on required parts utilizing proper plating techniques according to quality control standards. In addition, clean brazed parts for soldering.<p><strong>Pay: $25 - $35/hr </strong><p><strong>Shift: Second (2nd) shift: 2:30pm - 11:00pm, Monday - Friday</strong><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Control zinc plating processing and manage hazardous chemicals.</li><li>Run and clean high pressure wastewater filter systems.</li><li>Change the filters of zinc and water rinse tanks and monitor the acid pH level of zinc tanks.</li><li>Add chemicals to zinc tanks as required.</li><li>Operate all related vibrating and deburring equipment.</li><li>Load, unload, dip and hang parts and plate parts into manual rack tanks.</li><li>Check plating thickness and color.</li><li>Make up new plating solutions as necessary.</li><li>Clean high pressure ET filter system, evaporator, and pump wastewater out of system.</li><li>Brush and wash each filter, prime DE system, and adjust wastewater tank pH level.</li><li>Record plating logs, graphs, and all daily production reports.</li><li>Maintain accurate chemical inventory and usage.</li><li>Ensure good quality and a clean and safe work area at all times.</li><li>Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Skills & Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to manage and control hazardous chemicals.</li><li>Experience with high pressure wastewater filter systems.</li><li>Proficiency in maintaining chemical inventory and usage records.</li></ul><p><strong>Why Work Here?</strong><p>Enjoy comprehensive benefits including 401k, vision, health, and dental insurance, fostering a supportive and secure work environment.<p><strong>Work Environment</strong><p>This position involves working in a combination of manufacturing and office environments with regular exposure to noise, dust, heat, cold, and odors.</p><strong>Job Type & Location</strong><p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockland, MA.</p><strong>Pay and Benefits</strong><p>The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. <p> Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.<p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
