You will be involved in the creation of various crates and packaging for diverse industries using both hand and power tools.<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Adhere to company safety and quality policies at all times.</li><li>Follow established ISO work instructions as applicable.</li><li>Complete assigned manufacturing tasks using specified equipment within the allotted time.</li><li>Oversee materials to minimize scrap and waste.</li><li>Process scrap material for recycling.</li><li>Maintain work area and equipment according to established 5S standards at all times.</li><li>Operate equipment according to manufacturers guidelines.</li><li>Report safety and quality issues along with any maintenance needs to supervisor.</li><li>Participate in established cross-training initiatives in other areas to support business goals and objectives.</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, and read/write short correspondence.</li><li>Competency in basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).</li><li>Proficiency in reading tape measures.</li><li>Comfortable using hand and power tools.</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Skills & Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Shop math skills.</li><li>Ability to read blueprints.</li><li>Team-oriented mindset.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Dedication to task completion.</li></ul><p><strong>Why Work Here?</strong><p>This role offers great opportunities for growth and cross-training. While it can be a bit loud, it is not overwhelming, and there are no unpleasant odors. The facility is temperature-controlled. There are multiple shifts available: 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, and 3rd shift from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM.</p><strong>Job Type & Location</strong><p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sutton, MA.</p><strong>Pay and Benefits</strong><p>The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.50/hr. <p> Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.<p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
