Senior Technician

<p><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">Adecco Staffing is working with a leading engineering and technology company in Bedford, MA to bring on an experienced Electromechanical Engineering Technician. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with engineers and scientists in a hands-on, highly technical environment supporting prototype assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">Job Duties:</span></h3><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">· Troubleshoot, repair, build, and rework electromechanical assemblies using electrical and mechanical drawings and specifications</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">· Assemble and rework complex electromechanical components, circuitry, and engineering prototypes</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">· Set up, adjust, calibrate, align, and modify electrical and mechanical components</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">· Build test fixtures and set up experiments to evaluate prototype reliability and performance</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">· Operate laboratory and machine shop tools to modify or fabricate parts and assemblies</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">· Identify design or performance issues, collect data, and communicate findings to engineering teams</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">· Use a variety of test and measurement equipment, including DVMs, oscilloscopes, data loggers, gauges, dynamometers, and flow sensors</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">· Research and procure parts, tools, and test equipment as needed</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">· Maintain laboratory areas, tools, and equipment to ensure proper availability and reliability</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">· Communicate project status, technical issues, and findings to team leads and managers</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">· Provide technical direction to other support personnel when appropriate</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">· Prioritize tasks according to project objectives while working with minimal supervision</span></p><h3 style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">Requirements:</span></h3><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">· Technical diploma, vocational high school certificate, or equivalent</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">· 7+ years of experience in a comparable engineering, laboratory, manufacturing, or technical environment preferred</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">· Experience working with sophisticated electromechanical assemblies and prototypes</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">· Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical engineering drawings</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">· Experience creating and following technical documentation and work instructions</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">· Proficiency with Microsoft Office</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">· Experience using electrical and mechanical test equipment</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">· Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">· Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">· Strong written and verbal communication skills</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">· Ability to work effectively with engineers, scientists, and other technical professionals in a fast-paced
