Test Technician

<p>Adecco is assisting a company in Newburyport to help find an experienced Test Technician! This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.</p><p></p><p><strong>Hours:</strong> 7:30AM-4:00PM, Monday-Friday</p><p><strong>Pay:</strong> $28-$31/hour</p><p><br><strong><span style="color:#2D2D2D;">Position Overview:</span></strong></p><p>Tests functionality and calibrates electronic or electro-mechanical systems and sub-assemblies according to established procedures using computerized or standard test equipment. Troubleshoots or repairs systems to the board level with some emphasis on component level trouble shooting</p><p><strong><span style="color:#2D2D2D;">Essential Job Functions:</span></strong></p><ul><li><p><span style="color:#2D2D2D;">May operate assemblies in a burn-in oven to elevate temperature prior to testing of assembly</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#2D2D2D;">Examination of assemblies for defects or workmanship issues, such as scratches, poor connections, loose hardware, etc.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#2D2D2D;">Calibrate and test assemblies according to written procedures.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#2D2D2D;">Compares test results with specifications to determine if limits or standards have been met.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#2D2D2D;">Failed and rejected assemblies are recorded for all rejected assemblies before attempting any repair of the rejected assembly.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#2D2D2D;">May require verifying dimensions of parts, using standard gauges.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#2D2D2D;">Effectively communicates with engineers, technicians, production personnel, and others to resolve problems.</span></p></li></ul><p><strong><span style="color:#2D2D2D;">Preparation, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</span></strong></p><ul><li><p><span style="color:#2D2D2D;">Associate's degree from a two-year college, technical school or equivalent experience.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p>If you are interested, please apply with your <strong><u>updated</u></strong> resume, thank you!</p><br><br><b>Pay Details:</b> $28.00 to $31.00 per hour <br><br>Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
