This role involves preparing and cooking food according to established recipes and standards, assisting with breakfast preparation, and working effectively as part of the dietary team.</p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><ul><li>Prepare and cook food according to established recipes and food-service standards.</li><li>Assist with breakfast preparation and service.</li><li>Work the grill and prepare menu items as needed.</li><li>Assist with food prep and general kitchen duties.</li><li>Perform light dishwashing and cleanup when necessary.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of food preparation and kitchen areas.</li><li>Follow all food safety, sanitation, and healthcare facility procedures.</li><li>Work effectively as part of the dietary/food service team.</li><li>Complete other kitchen duties as assigned.</li></ul><strong>Essential Skills</strong><ul><li>Basic cooking experience required.</li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.</li><li>Reliable and punctual.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and food safety procedures.</li></ul><strong>Additional Skills & Qualifications</strong><ul><li>Previous food service, cooking, or kitchen experience preferred.</li><li>Healthcare food service experience is a plus, but not required.</li></ul><strong>Why Work Here?</strong><p>Join a supportive team that values collaboration and excellence in a dynamic hospital environment. The role requires working every other weekend, with potential additional weekday shifts discussed during the interview.</p><strong>Job Type & Location</strong><p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milton, MA.</p><strong>Pay and Benefits</strong><p>The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. <p> Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.<p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
