Adjunct for the Physician Assistant Program

<undefined>Springfield College is seeking dynamic and experienced adjunct faculty members to join our Physician Assistant program. As an adjunct faculty member, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education to our PA students.</undefined><br><br><undefined>Springfield College has a rich history of developing leaders in health and human services. Our DMSc program is designed for medical professionals seeking to advance their knowledge and expertise in medical science and leadership.</undefined><br><br><undefined><em>Compensation for adjunct faculty with fewer than 3 years college teaching experience is $2820 for a 3-credit course<br data-pasted="true">Compensation for adjunct faculty with 3 or more years college teaching experience is $3513 for a 3-credit course.</em><br></undefined><undefined><strong>Responsibilities will depend on the role but could include:<br data-pasted="true"></strong>- Assisting in the PA program cadaver labs : Must be available for labs on <strong>Fridays 9am-3:30 pm</strong> during the semester&nbsp;<br>- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students.<br>- Engage in active communication with students to support their learning and professional growth.<br><br><br></undefined><undefined><strong>Required Qualifications:<br data-pasted="true"></strong>- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physician Assistant or experience matching course expertise (e.g., pathologist, pharmacist, anatomist, etc.)<br>- Strong commitment to student success and academic excellence.<br>- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<br>- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</undefined><br><undefined><br><strong>Preferred Qualifications:<br></strong>- Previous experience teaching in a PA program or precepting clinical students.<br>- Knowledge and experience with Learning Management Systems, particularly Brightspace.</undefined><br><br><undefined><strong>Application Process:</strong></undefined><strong><br></strong><undefined>Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the positions are filled.
