Job Description Role Objective BAE System Inc is looking for an experienced Deltek Costpoint Business Analyst that is 100% Remote. This role will act as the bridge between Finance, Project Accounting, IT and Operations, helping implement system improvements, manage ongoing updates, and ensure the platform supports efficient, scalable processes. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands both project accounting workflows and ERP system functionality and can translate business needs into practical system solutions. The ideal candidate brings professional demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication skills. The candidate should have a proven ability to translate business needs into system solutions and follow through from design to implementation and be comfortable at making decisions and recommendations that impact workflows and system design. Core Responsibilities System Ownership & Continuous Improvement<ul style="list-style-type:square"><li>Demonstrated experience owning and driving ERP system changes while driving added value from our ERP</li><li>Serve as the internal subject matter expert for Deltek CostPoint ecosystem</li><li>Evaluate current workflows and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency</li><li>Lead and support implementation of system enhancements and configuration changes</li><li>Stay current on Deltek releases and proactively recommend improvements such as Dela AI enablement and use cases</li></ul>Implementation & Process Optimization<ul style="list-style-type:square"><li>Partner with Finance and Operations to design and implement improved workflows</li><li>Configure and maintain system modules including project accounting, billing, and reporting</li><li>Lead testing, validation, and rollout of new features and changes</li><li>Support business process re-engineering aligned with ERP capabilities</li></ul>Reporting & Data Management<ul style="list-style-type:square"><li>Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics to support decision-making</li><li>Ensure data integrity through audits, clean-up efforts, and governance processes</li><li>Assist with financial and operational reporting tied to project performance</li></ul> User Support & Training<ul style="list-style-type:square"><li>Provide day-to-day support to end users across operations, accounting, billing, and project teams</li><li>Troubleshoot system issues and partner with IT or Deltek support as needed</li><li>Create and maintain training materials and conduct user training sessions</li></ul>Cross-Functional Collaboration<ul style="list-style-type:square"><li>Gather business requirements from stakeholders and translate into system solutions</li><li>Work closely with accounting teams to improve billing and revenue workflows</li><li>Support integrations and data migrations as needed</li></ul>Required Education, Experience, & Skills Technical Requirements<ul style="list-style-type:square"><li>Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience preferred</li><li>10+ years of experience in business analysis, ERP system administration, or enterprise application leadership</li><li>5+ years of experience of systems or business administration in a Deltek, SAP or Oracle environment</li><li>Working knowledge of data structures, integrations, and SQL</li><li>Strong understanding of business processes within government contracting or other highly regulated industries</li></ul>Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills <ul style="list-style-type:square"><li>Strong understanding of accounting, billing structures, and revenue workflows within a project-based environment</li><li>Experience with Shop Floor Time, TIP/QA, and/or RFGen</li><li>Deltek Costpoint certifications</li><li>Demonstrated experience supporting DCAA, FAR, and government audit requirements</li><li>Experience leading ERP initiatives, upgrades, or enterprise‑wide process transformations</li></ul>#LI-DM2 #LI-Remote Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $118095 - $200762 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
