Job Description In this role you will:<ul style="margin-bottom:11px"><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Oversee all supply base ramp activities for assigned suppliers.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Manage the execution of subcontracts for funding of suppliers to ensure they can meet BAE Systems delivery rates.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Partner with Supply Chain Planning, General Procurement and Subcontracts to ensure the supply base is well prepared for increases in production rates.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Validate suppliers’ current capacity and abilities to meet BAE Systems long term production rates.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Author, manage and influence the creation of long-term pricing agreements with the supply base.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Participate and support Supply Chain Risk Management activities within the PGSS product line.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Support Dual sourcing activities remaining aligned to production programs long term strategies.</li></ul> Who you are:<ul style="margin-bottom:11px"><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Ability to work independently, as well as manage cross functional program teams on all subcontract related issues; multi-tasking is crucial for success.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Must be able to assess, prioritize, drive issues to closure and be assertive when required.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Exercises discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Exhibits best practice work habits and collaborates with other subcontract team members to promote operational excellence and completeness.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Models and demonstrates strong leadership in ethics, safety, corporate responsibility, and security.</li></ul>Required Education, Experience, & Skills <ul style="margin-bottom:11px"><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Ability to travel approximately 10-15% of the time</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Experience in Supply Chain Planning, Subcontracts & Supply Chain Management</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Strong demonstrated negotiation skills and strategies</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Experience in new business capture to include proposals</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Experience developing long-term strategies and tactical plans to achieve enterprise objectives.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Successful, proven record of leading and managing multi-discipline project teams</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship building, leading through influence, and the ability to effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) at all levels</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Ability to develop plans specifying goals, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Ability to communicate with senior management regarding supply base performance (cost / schedule / resources / risk) as well as performance to financial objectives</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Experience communicating externally either with customers or suppliers</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Technical and business acumen</li></ul>Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills <ul style="margin-bottom:11px"><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Operations</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Master’s Degree in Engineering and/or Business Administration</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Prior experience in Planning, General Procurement, & Subcontracts.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Experience leading cross-functional teams Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Program Management Institute’s (PMI) Program Management Professional (PMP) certification</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Demonstrated Risk Management experience</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Experience with information systems such as Oracle</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures with associated knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Significant experience managing the development and compliance of requirements (SOWs, specifications, contractual terms, etc.)</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Strong organizational skills to handle many overlapping projects simultaneously</li></ul> Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $118095 - $200762 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
