We are looking for a Senior Solutions Architect responsible for designing, implementing, and guiding enterprise-level technology solutions that align with business goals. The successful candidate will provide leadership to a team of Developers/Engineers on a technology-based program supporting a key government customer. This program will deliver engineering services for sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, cloud services as well as virtualized applications, and storage systems. Enterprise Computing Engineering services include modern application technology including containerized solutions with orchestrated workflow that function in the Cloud. As a Senior Solutions Architect, you may:<ul><li>Lead the architectural design of our next-generation platform, ensuring scalability, modularity, and resilience.</li><li>Define integration patterns and APIs that enable seamless interoperability between platform services and third-party systems.</li><li>Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and UX designers to translate business needs into technical solutions.</li><li>Establish best practices for cloud-native development, leveraging tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.</li><li>Conduct architecture reviews, identify technical risks, and propose mitigation strategies.</li><li>Guide the adoption of emerging technologies—such as event-driven architectures, serverless computing, and AI-driven automation—where they add real value.</li><li>Mentor engineering teams on architectural principles, design patterns, and platform governance.</li><li>Provide a hands-on leadership approach to delivering</li></ul> XYZ #LI-DE1Required Education, Experience, & Skills <ul><li>Bachelor's degree in a computer science or STEM field AND</li><li>Professional level Cloud Architect certification, such as:<ul style="list-style-type:circle"><li>AWS Solutions Architect-Associate</li><li>Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect-Associate</li></ul></li><li>10+ years' hands-on software and/or cloud implementation experience, including the following:<ul style="list-style-type:circle"><li>5+ years’ proficiency in multiple programming languages (including Java or Python)</li><li>5+ years’ experience and a solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)</li><li>5+ years’ experience designing successful solutions and making trade-off decisions</li><li>5+ years’ experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and containerization</li><li>3+ years’ hands-on experience with database and data management</li></ul></li></ul>Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills <ul><li>Master's degree in computer science or STEM field</li><li>Professional level Cloud Architect certification, such as:<ul style="list-style-type:circle"><li>AWS Solutions Architect-Professional</li><li>Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect-Expert</li></ul></li><li>15+ years' hands on software and/or cloud implementation experience, including the following:<ul style="list-style-type:circle"><li>8+ years’ proficiency in multiple programming languages (including Java or Python)</li><li>10+ years’ experience and a solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)</li><li>10+ years’ experience designing successful solutions and making trade off decisions</li><li>Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and containerization</li><li>8+ years’ hands-on experience with database and data management </li><li>8+ years’ experience with cloud & hybrid networks (multiple enclaves, routing strategies)</li></ul></li><li>Expert in implementing and enforcing configuration management</li></ul> Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
