Job Description:
As a Technology Strategy & Transformation Intern, you will contribute to real projects that shape how GRS builds its digital capabilities, understands its costs, and applies AI to the way we work. You will work alongside experienced professionals across technology, product, and strategy while gaining hands-on experience and visibility with senior leaders in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Your work will focus on the following areas: Support current team priorities: Work alongside the Technology Strategy & Transformation (S&T) team and partners across GRS and Technology on active efforts to improve visibility into costs and operations. You'll help gather and organize data, document how key processes work today, and contribute analysis on where closer alignment could reduce duplication and create efficiencies. Find and build improvements using AI: Get to know how S&T works, including what we deliver, who we deliver it for and the outcomes we're accountable for. Then identify where our deliverables or ways of working could be better, and use AI and other tools to build and test a practical solution. By the end of the internship, you'll share what you built, what you learned and what you'd recommend next. What You've Got You are an undergraduate student working toward a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Communications, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field with a strong academic record; cumulative 3.0 GPA preferred. You have 0-2 years of professional experience. Insurance experience is not required. You are authorized to work permanently in the United States. Experience or interest in areas such as research, data analysis, strategy, process improvement, technology, or AI is a plus. You are curious, eager to learn, and comfortable taking on new challenges. You show initiative, think creatively, and are open to new ideas. You possess strong written and verbal communication skills and work effectively with others. You are organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple priorities. You are comfortable using technology and interested in applying AI and other emerging tools in a professional environment. You have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
