Job Details Geocomp’s GeoTesting Express (GTX) is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our Lab Team based in Acton, MA. Key Responsibilities: Perform laboratory testing on soil, rock, and geosynthetics Collect, record, and report test data with accuracy and attention to detail Assist with laboratory projects and daily operations as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment Uphold high standards of quality, safety, and process compliance Qualifications Required Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Organized, adaptable, and willing to learn new laboratory techniques No prior laboratory experience required — full training will be provided Preferred Coursework or exposure to earth sciences, geology, civil, or environmental engineering is a plus (not required) Physical Demands & Working Conditions Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, bend, and stand for extended periods at a lab bench or workstation Laboratory environment: standard indoor lab setting Field testing (occasional): typical construction site conditions Benefits Package: Base salary range: $23,00 per hour(This amount reflects the base salary only and does not include bonus, benefits, or other forms of compensation) 401(k) with company match Comprehensive health insurance Health savings account (HSA) Paid time off (PTO) Professional development assistance Employee referral program
