This leader has an innate desire to partner, build a strategic vision and drive this forward through execution maintaining excellent operational health. The leader is a relentless advocate of our stakeholders to align technology roadmaps to our business objectives.<br><br>The ideal candidate is an experienced Manager-level IT Service Owner who will own critical applications including legal/export management systems and support the end-to-end processes within the value stream. This role partners closely with executive business stakeholders, IT delivery teams, architecture, cybersecurity, and operations leaders to ensure reliable, scalable, secure, and forward-looking enterprise capabilities.<br><b>Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</b></span></span></span><ul style="margin-bottom:11px"><li style="margin-bottom:11px"><span style="font-size:15px;"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Own and communicate the long-term technical vision and technical strategy for Legal systems technology. Develop a prioritized roadmap that aligns with the business goals of the departments.</span></span></span></li><li style="margin-bottom:11px"><span style="font-size:15px;"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Partner with business stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and ensure alignment between technology capabilities and business objectives.</span></span></span></li><li style="margin-bottom:11px"><span style="font-size:15px;"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Lead the product squad that supports Legal systems. This includes oversite of the application lifecycle includes software acquisition, deployment, and administration. The squad will include business analysts, configuration, testing, production support, and process management.</span></span></span></li><li style="margin-bottom:11px"><span style="font-size:15px;"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Drive the portfolio of applications to digital first mindset, leading to the adoption of AI, Digital Thread, visualization and analytics for the value stream. Maintain portfolio to regulatory, compliance, and policy standards to include DFARs and CMMC requirements.</span></span></span></li><li style="margin-bottom:11px"><span style="font-size:15px;"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Provide quality assurance through business architecture, requirements analysis, and user acceptance Testing (UAT) and serve as the final authority on whether a new feature or update meets the needs of the Legal team.</span></span></span></li><li style="margin-bottom:11px"><span style="font-size:15px;"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Builds and maintains strategic partnerships with Systems Integrators and Software Providers to ensure BAE Systems Inc. interests based on our market pay structures.
