2027 Summer Paid Health Internships at Health Career Connection

For over 36 years, Health Career Connection has provided students with life-changing, career-launching internships. In addition to a powerful educational experience, HCC interns discover or affirm the health career direction that best suits them, find mentors, secure job offers and increase their competitiveness and connections for graduate health and professions schools. We are dedicated to empowering students like you to discover and achieve your health career goals. Spend your summer in an experiential learning internship program designed to develop the next generation of health professionals and leaders. We look forward to receiving your application! Through partnerships with leading organizations, HCC provides internships in a variety of settings including but not limited to hospitals, community health centers, medical groups, consulting firms, health plans, local health departments, governmental agencies, community-based organizations, and advocacy groups. We also have new internships in bio-health, artificial intelligence, biopharma and digital health. During the internship, students gain valuable real-world exposure, experience and mentorship and complete meaningful projects. Interns also advance their professional skills and personal development through HCC workshops and trainings. HCC provides extensive exposure to health careers and connections to health professionals through workshops and events guiding students towards their authentic health career path. Interns become part of the HCC family of over 6,200 alumni who are health leaders and professionals in health care, public health, mental health, biotech, biopharmaceuticals, and other health sectors and are working to advance health improvement. For those who applied in the past and were not accepted, we highly encourage you to apply again as we have new host sites and placements becoming available every year. HCC interns receive educational stipends that range from $5,000 - $6,000 over the summer. All undergraduate students and recent graduates are eligible to apply. Students already in or who have recently graduated from a graduate program are NOT eligible to apply. INFORMATIONAL WEBINARS HCC hosts live informational webinars for interested applicants. These sessions provide an overview of our summer internship program and step-by-step guidance on the application process. You’ll also connect with HCC staff and get your questions answered in real time.
