About the RoleAflac is looking for a motivated Spring Sales Intern to join our team. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn the fundamentals of insurance sales while building real relationships with clients and businesses. You won't spend your days fetching coffee — you'll be in the field, learning how to identify prospects, present solutions, and close.
What you'll do- Shadow and support licensed Aflac sales agents in client meetings and presentations- Learn to identify prospective clients through networking, referrals, and cold outreach- Assist in preparing sales materials and benefit enrollment communications- Participate in team training sessions on Aflac products and sales techniques- Track activity and pipeline progress using internal tools- Build relationships with small business owners and HR contacts in the local market
About you- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program — business, marketing, finance, communications, or a related field preferred- Comfortable talking to strangers and not afraid of rejection- Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage your own schedule- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation (you'll be out in the field)- No prior sales experience required, but a competitive drive helps
Nice to have- Previous customer-facing work (retail, hospitality, campus orgs, anything)- Familiarity with CRM tools or sales tracking software- Interest in financial services or employee benefits
