Plumber

PLUMBER, Repair and Maintenance, to perform plumbing work in all areas of the Institute. This will involve installing, repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a full range of plumbing systems, including domestic water and drain systems. Will install, maintain, and repair complete plumbing systems including air, gas, and vacuum systems; service, inspect, and repair backflow preventers, sanitary fixtures, and heating units; operate power tools, sewer cleaning machines, hand tools, and plumbing equipment; replace seals in water closets and clean water filter systems; unplug sinks, toilet, and drains; maintain piping and related systems to ensure equipment is in proper working order; and respond to emergency mechanical system calls, including floods. The emphasis of the workload is on preventative maintenance.
