With customers’ mission-critical needs always in mind, our employees deliver end-to-end technology solutions connecting the space, air, land, sea and cyber domains in the interest of national security.Job Title: Manufacturing Technician A - 2nd shift Job Code: 44032Job Location: Londonderry, NHJob Schedule: 4/10: Employees work 10 hour days, 4 days a week    Job Description:  L3Harris is seeking a Manufacturing Technician A who will assemble, align, and tests systems, components, and subassemblies on the production floor, following specified work instructions and procedures to ensure the finished product meets established operational and cosmetic requirements  Essential Functions:  Follow and comply with documents such as work instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructionsAssemble and test components and subassemblies following specified work instructions and procedures to ensure finished product meets established operational, quality, and cosmetic requirementsContinuously perform visual inspections of materials for defects and conducts any range of functional tests and cleaning at prescribed intervals to ensure proper operation of various componentsComplete fine/complex assemblies with small components and apply bond/adhesives potentially with use of a microscopeMake fine adjustments while simultaneously monitoring computer/screen output of unit resultsOperate complex active alignment stations and toolingWork with RTV, epoxy, and other bonds/adhesivesUse, read, and interpret oscilloscopes and other measurement devices/toolsWorking knowledge of electronic, optical and mechanical assembliesPerform basic computer activities with programs providedIdentify, utilize, and perform preventive maintenance on tools and test equipment as requiredComplete basic testing operations by loading units, starting test programs, and evaluating basic pass/fail criteria   Qualifications:  Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 0-3 years of prior relevant experience  Preferred Additional Skills:  Demonstrated proficiency at completing 1-3 different operations within a work cellEntry-level soldering with certification, if applicable L3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
