Job Description The role reports to the Inc. Supply Chain organization and will be responsible for providing project management support and analytics to the implementation of BAE Systems, Inc. direct global category management strategy. The selected individual will ensure successful execution of BAE Systems, Inc. category strategy in covered categories such as raw materials, hardware, and electronics. As a key interface with Inc. business segments and divisions and in support of category management directors, the Inc. Category Manager will apply best practice project management in all aspects of the agreement process as well as support category strategy initiatives to improve efficiency, competitiveness, and related procurement digitization plans. Key responsibilities include leading Inc. Market Intelligence projects, facilitating Inc. segment and division participation in global agreements, supporting the agreement management process and global framework agreements, and support escalated material issues in conjunction with the global category directors.Required Education, Experience, & Skills <div class="O0" style="text-indent: -0.38in; text-align: left; margin-left: 36px;">·Experience and Education: Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience</div><div class="O0" style="text-indent: -0.38in; text-align: left; margin-left: 36px;">·Project management experience</div><div class="O0" style="text-indent: -0.38in; text-align: left; margin-left: 36px;">·Commodity or category management experience</div><div class="O0" style="text-indent: -0.38in; text-align: left; margin-left: 36px;">·Previous industry experience in the Aerospace and Defense sector is required</div>Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills <ul style="margin-bottom:11px"><li style="margin-left:8px">Proficiency in direct material categories: raw materials, hardware, electronics, and / or critical minerals</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Track record in delivering supply chain material savings</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Project management skills</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Familiarity with negotiation approaches and contracts management</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Excellent stakeholder communication and influencing skills</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Strong and demonstrated analytical capability</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Ability to manage complex supply chain activities balancing corporate and business division-specific needs and benefits</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Familiarity with company, products and services, and company procedures</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Understanding of supply chain processes, and how these fit into the wider organizations processes </li><li style="margin-left:8px">Experience delivering value-add supply chain strategies</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Ability to present to senior-level management</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Supplier management experience</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Understand and challenge current ways of working to improve efficiency, continuous improvement, and drive collaboration</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Excellent organization skills, ability to manage multi tasks at the same time</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Capacity to work using own initiative and as part of a larger team</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Ability to build relationships and create networks</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px; margin-left:8px">Awareness of FAR/DFAR, ITAR, Small Business, Cyber Security, Supplier Quality Requirements</li></ul> Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $97157 - $165167 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
