This role drives planning performance and partners cross-functionally to translate demand into executable supply plans while advancing continuous improvement through the Danaher Business System (DBS).</p><p> </p><p>This position reports to the Production and Materials Planning Manager and is part of the Supply Chain team located in Waltham, MA and will be an on-site role.  </p><p> </p><p><b>In this role, you will have the opportunity to:</b></p><ul><li>Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, inventory targets, material availability, labor capacity, and equipment constraints.</li><li>Monitor production plan execution and adjust schedules as required to address changing business conditions, including material shortages, equipment downtime, and resource constraints.</li><li>Collaborate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Supply Planning, and Demand Management teams to resolve planning issues and support achievement of service and inventory goals.</li><li>Participate in daily management activities, track schedule attainment and planning performance metrics, and escalate risks that could impact customer delivery commitments.</li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancement activities by identifying planning issues and providing data-driven recommendations.</li></ul><p><b> </b></p><p><b>The essential requirements of the job include:</b></p><p>·       Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.</p><p>·       2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing, operations planning, production planning, or supply chain environment.</p><p>·       Experience using ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or equivalent planning systems within a manufacturing environment.</p><p>·       Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.</p><p>·       Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.</p><p><b> </b></p><p><b>It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:</b></p><p>·       APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent).</p><p>·       Experience within life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing environments.</p><p>·       Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.</p><p> </p><p>Abcam, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
