Panjabi Interpreter at Accurate Communication

Duties and Responsibilities Serve as an interpreter for People with Limited English Proficiency in different social services settings Provide consecutive interpretations between English and Panjabi. Listen to complete statements in one language, translate them to the second, and translate responses from the second into the first language. Express either approximate or exact translation, depending on the nature of the occasion. Minimum Requirements & Experience At least three years of experience Interpreting settings Be a Native Linguist Interpreting: 2 years (Preferred) English: 5 years (Required) Bilingual: 3 years (Preferred) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required Fluency in both languages being spoken. Ex. English to Panjabi. Listening skills · Ability to read and write in both languages. Working Conditions and Physical Effort Walking, Sitting, and Moving around. Work is typically performed in a typical interior or exterior work environment.
