Clinical Social Worker, MSW, LICSW PHP/IOP, Waltham

Position Summary/Department Summary:Boston Children’s Hospital at Waltham's campus has a partial hospitalization program (PHP) for children and adolescents experiencing behavioral health difficulties. We are currently seeking a 40 hour LICSW social worker to join our team! Key Responsibilities:Providing short-term individual and group therapy to adolescent patients attending BCH's Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)/Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Waltham, MA.Conducting patient and family assessments, providing individual and group therapy, family therapy when appropriate, collaborating with collateral contacts, and case management for discharge planning.Assess and analyze the severity of youth’s presenting problems, including his/her strengths, challenges, environmental stressors and resources and identify the best modality and level of care for their specific problems related to illness. Work within a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologist, and nursing.Minimum QualificationsEducation:Master’s degree in social workExperience:Experience in a mental health, group therapy working with children, adolescents and families is ideal.The ability to independently carry cases while working well within an interdisciplinary team model.Licensure/Certifications:MA LICSW licensure requiredNew hires are eligible for a $5,000 sign on bonusFree parking in Waltham!
