Job Description <table class="Table" style="border-collapse:collapse"><tbody><tr><td style="padding:.100px .100px .100px .100px">We are looking for someone who can lead the San Diego Logistics team in daily operations of Receiving, Material Stores and Shipping reporting directly to a remote leader<ul style="margin-bottom:11px"><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Supervise non-exempt stockroom, receiving and shipping personnel and establishing work priorities for operations.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Requires strong leadership, technical, and problem-solving skills to manage a Logistics team and ensure compliance with company policies and Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) requirements.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Responsible for On the Job (OTJ) training, professional development and advancement of assigned stockroom personnel.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Will assist in establishing both team and individual goals.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Responsible for all personnel activity related to human resources, include hiring, mentoring and disciplinary actions.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Monitors labor and approves overtime.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Uses data and metrics to drive KPI performance.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Drives process improvements.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Enforces company policies including safety & security.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Executes unplanned changes to strategy.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Responds to customer requirements in a timely manner.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Monitors employee trainings to ensure they are up to date.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Prepare teams and support audits for Customers, internal and external, DCMA, DCAA, and Financial</li></ul></td></tr></tbody></table>Required Education, Experience, & Skills <table class="Table" style="border-collapse:collapse"><tbody><tr><td style="padding:.100px .100px .100px .100px">Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience</td></tr><tr><td style="padding:.100px .100px .100px .100px"> </td></tr></tbody></table> <table class="Table" style="border-collapse:collapse"><tbody><tr><td style="padding:.100px .100px .100px .100px"><ul style="margin-bottom:11px"><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Previous leadership experience in a professional manufacturing and warehouse setting.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Ability to connect with people of diverse backgrounds and experiences.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Excellent written and spoken communication skills</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Microsoft Office Suite saavy</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Ability to analyze data and use it to make informed decisions and improvements</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Willingness to hold people accountable and be held accountable</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Ability to respond quickly to a dynamic work environment.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Excellent customer services skills</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Knows and embraces a lead by example philosophy</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Passionate developer of talent</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Can recruit and hire high caliber performers</li></ul></td></tr></tbody></table>Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills <table class="Table" style="border-collapse:collapse"><tbody><tr><td style="padding:.100px .100px .100px .100px"><ul style="margin-bottom:11px"><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software systems</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Lean manufacturing certification</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Understands or is willing to learn LEAN manufacturing principles</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Oversee day to day operations in a unionized environment by ensuring acts of company alignment with the collective bargaining agreement.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Experience working with and supervising represented and non-represented employees.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Six Sigma Belt</li></ul></td></tr></tbody></table> Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $82779 - $140723 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
