Position summary:This position will support the General Surgery Clinic. Key responsibilities:Under the direction of the RN, the Clinical Assistant performs duties of direct and indirect patient care. Supporting the RN with clinical tasks, includingObtaining and recording vital signs and growth parameters and clerical duties. Assisting RN in completing prior authorization formsAnswering prescription refill lineRoom set up, stock inventory for supplies and equipmentRotation between Boston and Waltham. Minimum qualifications:Education:HS Diploma or GED required.CNA certification preferred.Experience:1 year Clinical Assistant experience in an outpatient pediatric setting highly preferred.
