Maintenance Technician - DIRECT HIRE

<p><strong><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">Adecco is assisting a manufacturing client in Greenfield, MA with hiring DIRECT HIRE Maintenance Technicians.</span></strong><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);"> </span></p><p><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">This role is responsible for repairing and maintaining production machinery and equipment, including engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and other production equipment. This is a hands-on role supporting daily production needs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and requires flexibility to rotate between day and night shifts.</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><strong><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">Position</span></strong><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);"><br>Maintenance Technician</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><strong><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">Shift</span></strong><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);"><br>• 12-hour rotating shifts<br>• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM<br>• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><strong><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">Pay</span></strong><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);"><br>• $25-$35/hr depending on experience. </span></p><p style="text-align:start"><strong><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">Duties and Responsibilities</span></strong><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);"><br>• Repair and maintain production machinery and equipment including motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production equipment<br>• Perform preventative maintenance duties as prescribed by the CMMS, including greasing equipment, changing oil, cleaning filters, and general maintenance tasks<br>• Use and understand the CMMS to accurately catalog work completed and maintain inventory accuracy<br>• Communicate with shift leaders and production employees to understand daily maintenance needs<br>• Interpret production setups to accurately perform tooling<br>• Complete all maintenance checklists fully and accurately<br>• Clean, organize, and maintain parts inventory within the CMMS<br>• Assist shift personnel with tooling functions<br>• Repair or replace defective parts<br>• Make required entries into PDE</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><strong><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">Qualifications</span></strong><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);"><br>• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience<br>• Valid driver’s license in good standing with reliable transportation<br>• Ability to adapt and change work direction on short notice to accommodate business needs<br>• Knowledge of basic shop tools including grinders, mag drill, hammer drill, and micrometers<br>• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals<br>• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence<br>• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and through email<br>• Strong basic math skills including fractions, decimals, ratios, percentages, and graph interpretation<br>• Ability to apply common-sense reasoning to carry out written, oral, or diagram-based instructions<br>• Ability to troubleshoot problems involving multiple variables in standardized situations<br>• Ability to operate drills, grinders, and other maintenance shop tools<br>• Welding experience preferred or willingness to learn<br>• Willingness and ability to travel between plants or obtain parts as needed<br>• Flexibility to rotate between day and night shifts</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><strong><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">Physical Requirements</span></strong><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);"><br>• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds<br>• Ability to push or pull objects up to 250 pounds<br>• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts<br>• Ability to perform repetitive tasks<br>• Ability to routinely stand, sit, walk, hear, and speak throughout the shift<br>• Ability to reach, climb, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, and work in awkward or tight spaces<br>• Good close vision, depth perception, and ability to focus</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><strong><span style="color:rgb(51, 51, 51);">If you are interested in this position, please apply using the link provided and be sure to include an updated resume.</span></strong></p><br><br><b>Pay Details:</b> $25.00 to $35.00 per hour <br><br>Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled<br><br>Military connected talent encouraged to apply<br><br>To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.adecco.com/en-us/candidate-privacy<br><br>The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:<br><ul><li>The California Fair Chance Act</li><li>Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance</li><li>Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers</li><li>San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance</li></ul> <br><br><p><strong>Massachusetts Candidates Only:</strong> It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
