Nurse Practitioner, Martha Eliot Health Center in Jamaica PlainKey Responsibilities:• Assessing, diagnosing, treating, and referring our pediatric/adolescent patient population.• Providing both urgent care and well visit care for patients ages newborn thru 22 years of age. • This position includes adolescent health care including but not limited to reproductive endocrine health conditions, family planning consultation, and general adolescent medical consultation.• Collaborating with multidisciplinary members of the health care team to design and implement evidence-based care.• Developing and recommending standards, policies, and procedures of patient care.• Participating in hospital, departmental and multidisciplinary programs, committees, and special projects.• Working 40 hours per week including days M-F at Martha Eliot and a weekend rotation in the Primary Care Clinic located in Longwood.Minimum QualificationsEducation:• A Masters Degree in NursingExperience:• 1 year of RN experience required• 3-5 years NP experience in pediatric primary care preferred• Interest and experience working with an adolescent population preferred• Ability to work a weekend rotation to the primary care clinic on the Longwood main campus.• Bilingual skills a plusLicensure/ Certifications:• A current MA license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP or PNP required)
