Clinical Assistant -Urology/Urodynamics

Position sumamry:This position will support both the general Urology and Urodynamics clinics. Key responsibilities:Assisting clinician during examinations (i.e. obtaining, measuring and recording routine information such as temperature and blood pressure, and performing other related duties according to specific needs of clinic).Working with interdisciplinary team including other clinical assistants, physicians, advanced practice providers, social workers, child life specialist and administrative staffAssisting clinicians during invasive and noninvasive procedures.Transporting patients, supplies and equipment as needed.Maintaining, cleaning and ordering department specific equipment.Scheduling, receiving and/or registering patients, visitors and staff for appointments or procedures.Collecting, verifying and recording required information according to established procedures and instructions.Identifying and reporting unusual findings or changes in patient condition to Registered Nurse, advanced practice provider and or physician.Obtaining records, files and/or results for appointments and entering related information on appropriate computer systems.Answering, screening and routing telephone calls and performing general office support tasks.Working Monday-Friday, 5-8 hour shifts.Rotating to Boston and Waltham sites.Minimum qualifications:Education:A HS Diploma or equivalent.Experience:1 year of Clinical Assistant/Nursing experience.Medical Assistant experience strongly preferred.Procedural experience preferred.
