Job Description In the Precision Guidance & Sensing Solutions (PGSS) Product Line, we design and manufacture state-of-the-art sensors and guidance kits that enable our customers to execute their precision strike missions. BAE Systems is looking for an inspection supervisor to support our growing team of approx. 20 inspectors across three shifts in our APKWS and THAAD factories at our sites in Hudson and Nashua, NH. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration, it will be performed fulltime on site. You don’t see it, but it’s there. In this role, you will: <ul><li style="margin-left:2px">Provide leadership to a team of inspectors that will report directly to you.</li><li style="margin-left:2px">Manage resource growth to meet needs to two dynamic and growing factories.</li><li style="margin-left:2px">Utilize quality control data to help drive innovative improvements that will reduce cost and increase efficiency without compromising product integrity.</li><li style="margin-left:2px">Reinforce compliance to the AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS) by supporting audits and continuous improvement efforts.</li></ul> Who you are: <ul style="margin-bottom:11px"><li style="margin-left:2px">You love leading teams and collaborating with cross-functional teams</li><li style="margin-left:2px">You are a people-first leader with a track record of building high performance teams</li><li style="margin-left:2px; margin-bottom:11px">You advocate for Quality First</li></ul>Required Education, Experience, & Skills <ul style="margin-bottom:11px"><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Bachelor's degree and 6-8+ years of experience or 10-12+ years of experience in lieu of degree</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Experience leading manufacturing teams who are working towards common goals in a production environment</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Experienced people manager with ability to forecast workload demands and manage shift coverage</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Ability to provide effective written and oral communications to cross-functional teams</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Experience with Quality Management Systems</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Proficiency with MS office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and a desire to learn new systems</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Ability to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, ethical principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations</li></ul>Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills <ul style="margin-bottom:11px"><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Bachelor's degree in related technical field and 8 years of experience</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Experience supporting production quality control (QC) teams within an electronics manufacturing environment </li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Previous role in a Quality function governed by military and aerospace standards</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Ability to apply, interpret and/or advise teams on quality, process documentation and workmanship requirements for product realization and inspection of components, assemblies and subassemblies</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Familiarity with AS9100 Quality Management Systems activities including auditing and continuous improvement</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Identification, control and disposition of discrepant material with an understanding of Preliminary Material Review/Material Review Board (PMR/MRB)</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Familiarity with First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS9102 requirements</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Working Knowledge and understanding of military electronics standards like IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-750, or MIL-PRF-38534</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Experience supporting manufacturing in cleanroom, ESD and/or FOD controlled areas</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Experience with non-conformance identification, control and evaluation</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Familiarity with government contractor labor tracking using systems like Autotime</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Ability to read and interpret technical data packages including engineering drawings, Bill of Materials, and component specifications</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Ability to extract data for visual presentations (using charts, tables, paretos, etc) to effectively communicate positions, issues, solutions or to drive actions</li></ul> Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $132962 - $226035 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
