<p><strong>Supply Chain Expeditor</strong><br><strong>Location:</strong> Warren, MA<br><strong>Job Type:</strong> Full-Time | On-site w/ Hybrid Flex<br><strong>Salary &amp; Benefits:</strong> $65,000 to $80,000 DOE + Health, Dental, Vision, PTO and other comprehensive Benefits<br><br><strong>Job Summary</strong><br>Adecco Permanent Recruitment is partnered with a growing aerospace and defense manufacturer in Warren, MA to hire <strong>Supply Chain Expeditors</strong>. This position helps keep materials moving by following up with suppliers, monitoring outstanding purchase orders, identifying potential shortages, and coordinating with internal teams to support production.<br><br>This is <strong>not a traditional Buyer role</strong>. The focus is on communication, organization, persistent follow-up, and keeping existing orders on track rather than negotiating pricing or sourcing new suppliers.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Follow up with suppliers regarding material status, delivery dates, and outstanding commitments.</p></li><li><p>Monitor open purchase orders and update expected delivery dates within the ERP/MRP system.</p></li><li><p>Identify late or at-risk materials and escalate potential shortages before they impact production.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with Purchasing, Planning, Production, Program Management, and other internal teams.</p></li><li><p>Track outstanding action items and maintain accurate supplier and delivery information.</p></li><li><p>Build strong supplier relationships while professionally pushing for answers and commitments.</p></li><li><p>Support supplier performance tracking and ongoing process improvements.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><p>1 to 3+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, purchasing, planning, manufacturing operations, customer service, inside sales, account management, or a related field.</p></li><li><p>ERP/MRP experience strongly preferred; IFS, SAP, Oracle, Epicor, Infor, Dynamics, JD Edwards, or similar.</p></li><li><p>Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.</p></li><li><p>Persistent and comfortable making frequent outbound calls.</p></li><li><p>Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and escalate issues appropriately.</p></li><li><p>Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.</p></li><li><p>U.S. citizenship required.</p></li></ul><p>Direct expediting, aerospace, defense, and ITAR experience are <strong>not required</strong>.
