Position SummaryClean/disinfect toys per DEEC regulations. Set up afternoon activities/learning centers and engage in play. Prepare/serve snack. Restock classroom areas as requested. Participate in group/story/circle time. Assist classroom teacher with closing of the classroom each day.Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting classroom teachers in the care, health, welfare and safety of children 12 weeks - 5 years of age in a group setting.Working with a team of teachers, to provide a caring environment where children are safe and secure.Cleaning/disinfecting toys per DEEC regulations.Setting up afternoon activities/learning centers and engage in play.Preparing/serving snack.Restocking classroom areas as requested.Participating in group/story/circle time.Assisting classroom teacher with closing of the classroom each day.Minimum QualificationsAt least 18 years of age.The ability to exchange information on factual matters, greet visitors, explain hospital policies, and/or relay messages to appropriate personnel.Courtesy and tact when dealing with patients, visitors and/or hospital employees. More sensitive situations may be referred to others as appropriate.Shift/Hours:Part time -15/hours per week.Shift/hours: 2:30pm - 6:00pm.Monday - Friday!Incentives:Employee Referral Bonus of $2,000.00
