Business Analyst at Asymptote Capital

About the Role We are looking for a highly analytical Business Analyst to support strategic decision-making through data analysis, financial analysis, and business intelligence. The role will work closely with management and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, evaluate business performance, and improve operational efficiency. Responsibilities * Analyze business performance, financial data, and operational metrics. * Build financial models, dashboards, and management reports. * Conduct market, industry, and competitive analysis. * Track KPIs and identify trends, risks, and opportunities. * Perform revenue, cost, profitability, and variance analysis. * Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. * Translate business requirements into analytical solutions. * Work with stakeholders to identify business problems and develop data-driven recommendations. * Conduct ad-hoc quantitative analysis to support management decisions. * Develop automated reporting and analytical workflows. * Present findings and recommendations to management and internal teams. * Identify opportunities to improve business processes and operational efficiency. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. * Strong analytical and quantitative skills. * Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets. * Strong communication and presentation skills. * Ability to work with large datasets and translate analysis into actionable insights. * Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, or other analytics tools. * Knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and valuation. * Experience with business intelligence or data analytics. * Familiarity with financial markets, investment management, or fintech is a plus. * Previous experience in consulting, finance, business analytics, or a related field.
