Page Operator (Per diem)

Department Summary: Page Operator (every other Saturday, Sunday and holiday 3:00p - 11:30pm). Answers, screens, and processes incoming Centralized Attendant, Radio Paging calls from a customer base. Ensures computer data is accurate and up to date.Key Responsibilities: Responds to requests for direct dial numbers, department numbers, physician on call status anddepartment functions utilizing an automated computerized system.• Handles special and priority calls such as medical emergency, code alerts, and time sensitivecalls from the general public, patients, medical personnel and other Hospital's clients.• Updates data base and customer profiles to reflect the most current contact information ofessential medical and non medical personnel. Minimum QualificationsEducation: High-school or GED diploma required. Experience: Six months of previous experience required.
