Job Description:
The Bridgewater-Raynham Regional School District is hiring various positions such as Education Support Professionals (ESP), Long-Term Substitutes (LTS), and Proctors for the 2026-27 academic school year! ✏️ These positions are a great opportunity for recent college graduates or grad students who are looking for full-time positions while gaining classroom experience towards their degrees. General Job Descriptions: -The Education Support Professional supports the teacher by assisting students with or without disabilities to meet their individual needs. We currently have positions open for inclusion and substantially separate ESP's. Please read the individual job descriptions on our website for details on both types of ESP's. -Long-Term Substitutes are assigned to a classroom upon hire and will work full-time until the primary teacher returns. Please note that while ESP and Proctor positions receive benefits, LTS positions will not. Employment opportunities may be available after the long-term assignment ends. We encourage graduates who are currently applying for their teaching licenses and looking to gain teaching experience in the classroom to apply for LTS positions. -Proctor positions are equivalent to a permanent building substitute and include benefits. Primary duties are to assist with covering positions within the building and perform other duties as assigned and directed by the building principal. These positions are available throughout the district at multiple schools in various grade levels. Our District is focusing its efforts to build an organization based on equity, inclusion and belonging for all students, their families, staff, and community members, by promoting the ideals of embracing differences and elevating them as opportunities. Our District recognizes that the existing systems disproportionately impact the most marginalized students and communities in our society. We believe that these marginalized voices must be centered and amplified in our work so that all feel that they are welcomed, respected, supported, and valued. We are aiming to eliminate practices, policies and processes that impede our ability to be a diverse and inclusive employer of choice. We are committed to identifying areas of underrepresentation and working to develop strategies that will remedy underrepresentation and/or demonstrate “good faith” efforts toward a remedy. For this reason, we strongly encourage applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds.
