Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

<p>Adecco is searching for Shipping &amp; Receiving Coordinators in Billerica for a great company! This is a temp to hire opportunity.<br><br><br><strong>Hours: </strong>8:00AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday<br><br><strong>Pay:&nbsp;</strong>$<a href="26.50/hour" target="_blank">26.50/hour</a><br><br><br><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong><br><br><span style="color:rgb(19, 30, 41);"><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);">· Prioritize daily activities within the Stockroom and Materials department to support production schedules and customer requirements.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:rgb(19, 30, 41);"><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);">· Provide support at the Westford offsite warehouse as needed, including order picking and general materials coverage.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:rgb(19, 30, 41);"><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);">· Investigate order picking issues, inventory discrepancies, cycle count variances, and nonconforming material. Perform cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and maintain inventory integrity.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:rgb(19, 30, 41);"><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);">· Locate, audit, transfer, and stage kits or materials to support production and shipping requirements.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:rgb(19, 30, 41);"><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);">· Receive incoming materials, complete inventory transactions, and update inventory records, shortage reports, and related documentation using Made2Manage (M2M) or other inventory systems.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:rgb(19, 30, 41);"><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);">· Monitor and maintain shortage reports to help ensure material availability for production.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:rgb(19, 30, 41);"><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);">· Coordinate the processing and disposition of nonconforming material in accordance with established procedures.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:rgb(19, 30, 41);"><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);">· Work with management to minimize excess inventory by relocating, consolidating, or disposing of material as directed.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:rgb(19, 30, 41);"><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);">· Organize, consolidate, and maintain stockroom locations to maximize storage capacity, improve inventory accuracy, and support efficient material flow.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:rgb(19, 30, 41);"><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);">· Assist with expediting material deliveries from suppliers when requested by management.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:rgb(19, 30, 41);"><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);">· Train and certify Material Coordinators on departmental processes, procedures, and safe work practices.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:rgb(19, 30, 41);"><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);">· Follow established business processes and maintain accurate documentation for inventory and material transactions.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:rgb(19, 30, 41);"><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);">· Support inventory control initiatives by identifying excess or obsolete material and assisting with rework, transfer, or scrap activities as directed.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:rgb(19, 30, 41);"><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);">· Operate powered industrial equipment, including pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, after certification.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:rgb(19, 30, 41);"><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);">· Follow all company safety policies and procedures and actively contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:rgb(19, 30, 41);"><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);">· Provide cross functional coverage for Inventory Control, Receiving, the Stockroom, and Production Control during planned or unplanned absences.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:rgb(19, 30, 41);"><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);">· Perform other duties and projects as assigned.</span></span><br><br><strong>Job Requirements:<br></strong></p><p><span style="color:rgb(19, 30, 41);"><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);">· Demonstrates proficiency in stockroom operations, inventory control, material handling, and established departmental procedures.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:rgb(19, 30, 41);"><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);">· Applies standard processes and sound judgment to complete assigned responsibilities accurately and efficiently.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:rgb(19, 30, 41);"><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);">· Understands how the Materials department supports Manufacturing, Planning, Purchasing, Shipping, Receiving, and other operational functions.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:rgb(19, 30, 41);"><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);">· Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and has basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:rgb(19, 30, 41);"><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);">· Comfortable working within ERP and inventory management systems, including Made2Manage (M2M).</span></span></p><p><span style="color:rgb(19, 30, 41);"><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);">· Provides day to day guidance and support to less experienced team members.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:rgb(19, 30, 41);"><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);">· Assists with training, onboarding, and certification of Material Coordinators while promoting consistent work practices.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:rgb(19, 30, 41);"><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);">· Investigates inventory and material related issues, identifies root causes, and resolves routine and moderately complex problems by applying established procedures and sound judgment.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:rgb(19, 30, 41);"><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);">· Escalates issues appropriately when additional support or direction is needed.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:rgb(19, 30, 41);"><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);">· Communicates effectively
