Description

Overview:

We help our clients fight the daily share battle by swinging hard and fighting smart. We stay laser-focused on the most important part of the equation: the idea. Nothing beats a good one. And every day we come to work to think of more of them to help our clients dominate the noisiest of categories.

We also know that work is about more than just, well, work. It’s also about the people. And we find that when we let those people do their thing – their curious, tenacious, scrappy, be-happy thing – what results is innovative thinking that wins.

Department Overview:

The role of account management is to create, manage, and expand the conditions for great work and ideas to flourish. We strive to create work that moves people, changes the status quo, and drives our clients’ business and our own.

Our senior account managers are strategic marketing leaders who know their client’s business deeply and proactively bring new thinking and valuable outside perspective. They connect the dots - people, ideas, and resources - to deliver every aspect of modern marketing. They are passionate champions of great work, helping identify great ideas, shaping them, protecting them, and ultimately bringing them to life. They drive teams with clarity and purpose to make things happen, so we win for our clients.

The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for:

• Supporting day-to-day business activities to ensure clear communication, efficient workflows, and seamless execution across projects and workstreams.

• Building and maintaining strong, trusted client relationships, while serving as a reliable day-to-day contact.

• Partnering with strategy and creative teams to develop integrated campaigns – gathering and organizing the inputs and materials needed to move the work forward.

• Helping lead internal kickoffs and manage day-to-day communication between clients and creative teams, aligning teams on objectives, deliverables, and next steps.

• Developing a working understanding of the client’s business, category, and competitive landscape to inform conversations, identify opportunities, and help strengthen the work.

• Developing client presentations and recommendations in partnership with the Account Director/VP and cross-functional teams.

• Leading day-to-day client meetings and guiding internal workstreams, while partnering with the Account Director/VP on broader account priorities and more complex client conversations.

• Partnering with the Account Director/VP to manage the day-to-day development and production of video, digital, and social content from briefing through launch, with attention to quality and detail.

• Collaborating with Project Management to keep timelines and deliverables on track and flagging risks early; tracking budgets and coordinating estimates and billing with the appropriate teams.

• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date status reports and communicating progress, decisions, risks, and next steps proactively.

• Helping track account budgets, coordinate estimates, and support accurate, timely billing.

Skills:

Ways of Working

• Take ownership of assigned work, adapt when priorities shift, and keep projects moving in a fast-paced environment.

• Anticipate client needs, identify practical solutions, and navigate roadblocks proactively and constructively.

• Communicate clearly and confidently in writing, in conversation, and in presentations.

Collaboration

• Work well with a range of people – clients, internal teams, or external partners – to keep work on track.

• Build alignment across teams and drive day-to-day projects forward with clarity and confidence.

Accountability for Results

• Take ownership of projects and deliverables, making sure nothing slips through the cracks.

• Protect the quality and detail of the work while keeping deliverables on time and within budget.

• Look for ways to strengthen the work, improve processes, and the way we work, better.

Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000; commensurate with experience.

This is a hybrid position based in Boston or NYC.

Requirements

Desired Experience:

• 3–5 years of experience in an advertising agency or marketing environment, managing integrated campaigns across multiple channels.
